Tiki Tuesday: Tiki Island Disco at The Bywater

Ever been to a Tiki Island Disco before? Neither had we until our friends at The Bywater in Los Gatos invited us over for a taste of a Tropical dance party back in June. We had so much fun dancing the night away while sipping on Tiki drinks that bar manager, Darren and Jason Strich of Manresa whipped up for this special event.

This year they have taken Cher as the official mascot and she’s ready to get down to the funky beats brought to you by People’s Disco and Alex Rivera, who will be spinning from 5:30pm-9pm (close).

You may or may not know, but last week we announced that we will be co-hosting The Bywater’s Tiki Island Disco on July 9th! They have become one of our favorite places, so we are really excited for this collaboration.

So, what should you expect? One thing to look forward to these pop-up events is the food and cocktail menu is different every month! It’s really hard to not order everything on the menu, which is practically what we did. From soft shell crab, to pork spare ribs, to beignets. We got it allll!!

For those who are new to our blog, The Bywater is known for its New Orleans-inspired dishes. You can read more about our first visit to The Bywater here. This limited time pop-up tiki event happens every 2nd Tuesday of the month in May, June, July and August.
