Recipes: Peppered Pineappleade

Today in the Quarantiki Test Kitchen we are taking inspiration from one of our favorite YouTube Channels, Bon Appetit. Are any of you out there just as obsessed with the B.A. Test Kitchen as we are? Last week they released a video where their pro chefs were able to share their favorite drink recipes. Our Pepper Pineappleade is based off Priya Krishna’s Spiked Shikanji. We love a drink with a little kick, so we decided to take what we had in our own kitchen and give it our Tiki Collective twist by adding pineapple!!

Here’s what you’ll need

3/4 cup tequila
1 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup lime juice
3/4 cup water
1/4 sugar
3/4 tsp black pepper
3 cups ice

Blend until frothy. Pour over fresh ice in a glass. Garnish with freshly cracked pepper.

Depending on how sweet or strong you want it, you can adjust the balance ratio of juice to alcohol. We kept the recipe on the lighter side, so we could sip on it throughout the day and not have any regrets. Either way we hope this one brings a little refreshing moment to the end of your work-from-home week! Happy #Quarantiki !
